Sabuko co-operated with the communication department of National Botanical Garden in the Urban Biodiversity Campaign in 2019. Now we cooperate with the education department of the garden.
Sabuko conducted the course “Birding for Beginners” as an outdoor class during the autumn in 2020. Permission was granted to use an open pavilion in the garden.
In 2020 Sabuko joined the National Botanical Garden program for eco-hiking, which started to run every 2nd Saturday from autumn. The overall program intends to introduce hiking including different aspects like botany, bird identification and climbing skills.
In spring, NBGG allowed Sabuko to set up another project – Story Walk.
From March to May, Sabuko offers regular, weekly Urban Birding tours in National Botanical Garden, which attracts people of all ages, but mainly young families.
