Breathtaking Stories from Fields
There are many variations of passages of lorem ipsum available, but the majority have suffered alteration in some form, by injected humour, or randomised words which don’t look even slightly believable.

The Kakheti steppes: a fragile balance between a living landscape or a future desert
The Georgian steppe spanning the area between the Iori and Alazani rivers hosts a unique mixture of Palearctic, Indomalayan and Afrotropical fauna, including jackals, wolves and vultures. It was once home to the elusive Caucasian leopard. The steppe has been used for millennia as winter pastures by semi-nomadic transhumance pastoralists with tens of thousands of sheep, but a combination of climate change and increased stocking densities is causing the degradation of this fragile habitat. The project will build on the progress made by the completed ELP-funded Iori River project. It will scale up grassland restoration and continue working with the pastoralist community to recover and to reconnect wildlife corridors from Kakheti to Vashlavani.
Ringing Camp
Bird ringing is when experienced ringers attach a small, individually numbered metal or plastic ring to the leg or wing of a wild bird to enable individual identification. Ringing aims to study the life cycle of the birds (population viability, mortality, age, and the rate of nesting and survival of specific target species), their habits, population dynamics and migration. Ringing must only be done if a permit has been granted by the relevant governmental institution. To find out and analyse the above, data researchers use the individually numbered metal rings to identify individuals if they are recaptured.

Conservation of Batumi Flyway
Programme was initiated in order to contribute to the valuable decrease of bird killings in Batumi Flyway. For this goal, we intend to provide (1) Systematic monitoring and field survey in 4 surrounding villages located in project target area, (2) Engagement of local communities, hunters, falconers and project stakeholders in conservation activities and (3) Increasing public awareness among local communities and broader civil society.
Conservation of Eastern Imperial Eagle in Georgia
The aim of the project was to address constraints of Imperial Eagles in Georgia and increase the local a population. To achieve this aim, we employed direct conservation measures, supplemented by awareness-raising and involvement of the local communities.
